Brainerd International Raceway to Host 2-Day Stock/Super Stock Combo July 10 & 11
BIR has scheduled a 2-day stock/super stock combo for July 10 & 11 which should bring the best NHRA/IHRA stock & super stock drag racers to Brainerd.
In addition to the track payout, the USA (United Sportsman Association) will add $1,000 to the weekend racer purse.
To be eligible for the USA money, the racer must be a USA member. Non-member racers may join the USA before the races start and become eligible for the additional monies. USA board members will be available during the weekend to assist racers with membership questions. The membership is $50 for the 2010 season.
Racer Details: Payments, Gate Fee Thursday is $35, Friday $30 and Saturday $20. Competition Fee Saturday is $90 and Sunday is $90. Racer Procedures: Saturday, Sportman Ladder used, two qualifying Time trials. Sunday, Pro Ladder used, one qualifying pass possible, weather permitting. Track Payout: Based on 33-64 Cars, winner $1200, runner-up $650, semis $200, quarters $130, and 3rd $70. Additional Info may soon be available on Class Racer, USA site, etc.
